Welcome to the Profiles web site.
This site contains information on 72 district school boards and 33 school authorities located in Ontario. Basic information about all publicly funded schools in Ontario is also provided here. School information can be accessed through a school board or school authority page.
The Ministry of Education is pleased to present a revised version of the school board and school authority profiles. The first release was published on July 26, 2001, and subsequent updates were issued from 2002-2003 through 2004-2005 school years.
To select a school board or school authority, use the Board Search link, where you are presented with various search criteria; alternatively you may access the list provided at the bottom of the home page to select a school board or school authority by name.
The Glossary page will provide you with definitions of the terms used on this web site.
